A percentage of the sale of each "Breach" edition will go to Ocean Alliance. Ocean Alliance aims to protect whales and their ocean environment through research, scientific collaboration, education, and the arts.

Living on Vancouver Island we are surrounded by water and the inhabitants within.  I was inspired to create this bronze Humpback Whale as I continue to siphon knowledge about the incredible wildlife of the region.  What struck me most was that their migratory routes can span up to 5000 miles, some of the longest of any mammal on the planet   

This iconic creature’s population recovery over the last 40 years is indicative of what is possible when protections are put in place for threatened species.  Together, we can make a difference.
